History:
The White House Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church was established around 1965, when several local families (founders) decided to start a new church in White House, Tennessee. Miles Coon, a retired minister, was asked if he would be interested in assisting in this. He and his wife Margie accepted the challenge. The local Cumberland Presbyterian Church allowed us to use their facility temporarily. Then in 1967, it was decided that we needed our own facility. Mrs. Lottie Tinnin so graciously donated the parcel of land where we built our church and had services until 2026.

Our Church Today:
To God be the glory for so richly blessing us over the years, and always lighting the way. As our congregation continued to grow, our group purchased land (our new church location) on Eastside Drive and 31W (105 Eastside Drive); where we all acknowledge, it is the church that God built. With God continuing to be our direction and light, it is our desire to expand our outreach in the community; to reflect His truth and love, and in so doing, we will be Gods Lighthouse in White House.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a global Christian community with over 23 million members in more than 200 countries. We believe the Bible is the ultimate authority as the word of God, and look forward to the soon return of our savior, Jesus Christ. Though we hold many similar beliefs, we are not like every other Christian denomination. Explore Seventh-day Adventist Beliefs to learn why.
“This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” John 15:12
Testimonies
“When I first came to this church body, I was looking for a group that believed and taught the whole Bible. I was thrilled to find that not only did their theology make sense of the whole Bible, but the meaning of “church family” was increased exponentially. The weekly fellowship meals helped me to get acquainted, and I soon felt right at home. Praise the Lord!” D. Huffman
“The first time I stepped into White House SDA church; I felt so welcomed. When we had the general greeting with the congregation; I felt love that I hadn’t felt before in any other church. The first time we had communion, I didn’t have a partner to partake of the emblem of humility. A lady came up to me and offered to be my partner. She prayed for me with her heart. That was it! This was to be my forever church family home; and it has been ever since.” S. Woodard.
"My family has been coming to White House SDA church for three years. We have received love from many people. These same people are willing to uplift us in prayer when needed. One big thing I love about this church is they are accepting of all people without judgement. The church family helps provide a safe place to grow in Jesus." H. Hays
"It gives me great joy to worship with my church family and to know that I am surrounded by love and support." G.Byrum
